The WolfPack Women’s Volleyball Team is now ranked in the Top 4 in the Nation.
Fresh off a statement weekend, the WolfPack have risen to No. 4 in the U SPORTS national rankings while holding first place outright in the Canada West standings. Only three programs in the nation currently sit above them, Sherbrooke, Alberta, and UBC. Notably, both Alberta and UBC trail the WolfPack in the conference table with games in hand.
The rise comes on the heels of a massive sweep over the then No. 4 ranked Trinity Western Spartans, a result that firmly put the WolfPack on the national radar. The Spartans responded the following night with a split, snapping TRU’s program best seven game winning streak, but the opening night sweep had already made its impact nationally.
After a huge weekend in Langley , the WolfPack remain in full control of their season. They return to action at home January 23 and 24 at TCC, hosting the UFV Cascades as they begin the final push toward the postseason.
Only six regular season matches remain before the Canada West playoffs, including a highly anticipated matchup against the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, Alberta. With a bye weekend ahead to recharge and reset, the timing could not be better.
