The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Men's Volleyball team is set to begin another Canada West campaign, looking to build momentum with a blend of experienced returnees and young talent.

Head coach Pat Hennelly returns to lead the WolfPack for the 2026-27 season, with TRU looking to take another step forward in one of the country's most competitive university volleyball conferences.

The WolfPack will have a mix of veteran leadership and new faces as they work toward securing a playoff spot and establishing consistency throughout the regular season.

Among the key returning players is setter Walker Sodaro, who will help guide the offence and distribute the ball to TRU's attackers. Middle Jakob Leinemann also brings valuable experience, while outside hitters Alex Howard and Rafael Williams will be among the players looking to make an impact offensively.

The WolfPack will also look to second-year middle Daniel Hitchens to continue developing after gaining experience in the Canada West conference last season.

TRU has added several first-year players to the roster, including outside hitters Carter Lake, Will Clarmo, Mostafa Tayea, Nii-Adjetey Osekre and Elliott Rourke, along with middle Mackenzy Thomson. The newcomers will have an opportunity to compete for playing time as they adjust to the university game.

With a combination of returning players and fresh talent, the WolfPack will be looking to strengthen their play on both sides of the ball while navigating a demanding conference schedule.
