Kamloops Storm goaltender Brenner Fyfe has earned recognition as one of the British Columbia Hockey Conference’s (BCHC) 3 Stars of the Week after delivering two strong performances between the pipes.

Fyfe recorded two wins while posting a .940 save percentage and a 1.44 goals-against average, helping the Storm continue their push through the 2026-27 BCHC season.

The recognition highlights the 19 year old netminder’s continued development in Kamloops, where he has established himself as an important piece of the Storm’s success over the past several seasons.

Fyfe joined the Storm in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) and made an immediate impact during his rookie campaign in 2024-25. He finished that season with 16 wins in 30 regular-season appearances, recording a 2.92 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage.

He carried that strong play into the postseason, winning six playoff games as the Storm advanced to the second round. Fyfe finished the playoffs with a 2.35 goals-against average and an impressive .939 save percentage, helping establish himself as one of the team's key players in net.

His performance caught the attention of head coach Andrew Fisher, who praised the young goaltender’s potential and ability to make life difficult for opposing shooters.

Fyfe continued to build on that foundation during his second season with Kamloops, gaining further experience and providing the Storm with consistency in goal. His performances helped the team remain competitive as it worked toward another postseason run.

Now competing in the BCHC following the league transition, Fyfe is continuing to show why he has become such an important part of the Storm organization. His latest two-win stretch, highlighted by a .940 save percentage and 1.44 goals-against average, is another example of his ability to deliver when his team needs him.

With the season continuing, Fyfe will look to carry that momentum forward as Kamloops competes against some of the top teams across the BCHC.
