Luca D’Amore Named BCHC Top Forward for September

The Kamloops Storm are getting an early-season boost from their captain, as Luca D’Amore has been named the BCHC Top Forward for September.
D’Amore was recognized for his strong start to the season, helping lead the Storm through the opening month of the BCHC campaign while establishing himself as one of the league’s top offensive threats.
D’Amore recorded back to back 4 goal games at home to start the season at McArthur Island. Luca has 10 goals and 3 assists for a total of 13 points through the first 6 games of the season.
With the added responsibility of wearing the captain’s “C,” D’Amore has quickly made his impact felt on the ice, helping Kamloops get off to a strong start in the BCHC Interior Division.
The September recognition is also a strong individual start for D’Amore, who will look to carry that momentum into the rest of the season as the Storm continue their push toward the top of the division.
For Kamloops, having its captain recognized as the league’s Top Forward for September is an early sign of what D’Amore can bring to the Storm throughout the 2026-27 season.
