KSC Awards - Alivia Smigielski wins Female Athlete of the Year

Alivia Smigielski has been named the Female Athlete of the Year at the 2026 Kamloops Sports Council Athletic Awards, taking home the honour at the 36th Annual Hall of Fame Banquet.

The lacrosse standout was selected from an incredibly talented group of nominees that included water skier Kate Pinsonneault and baseball player Layla Spencer, two athletes who have had outstanding years of their own.

The award caps off what has been an outstanding year for Smigielski on the lacrosse field.
