Kamloops Sports Council Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees and Award Nominees


The Kamloops Sports Council and the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame will recognize the community’s top athletes, teams, and sport leaders at the 36th annual athletic awards and hall of fame induction ceremony on April 11 at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre.


The event celebrates outstanding achievements in sport across Kamloops while welcoming a new class into the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame.


This year’s Hall of Fame class includes Jessica Hewitt (Speed Skating), Kelly Hunter (Softball/Baseball Umpire), Glenn Armstrong (Football Coach), 1980 Kamloops Turbulence (Senior Women’s Volleyball), and the Kamloops Sports Legacy Fund.
