The Kamloops Blazers are gearing up for another WHL season, with the club officially unveiling its 2026 preseason schedule.

The exhibition slate will begin on home ice at Sandman Centre on September 2 when the Blazers welcome the Penticton Vees for the first preseason game of the year. The matchup will give fans their first opportunity to see the team's newest faces in action as players compete for roster spots ahead of the regular season.

Kamloops will play a total of six preseason games, including three at home and three on the road. Following the opener against Penticton, the Blazers will host the Kelowna Rockets on September 4 before traveling to Kelowna the following night for the second half of a home-and-home series.

The schedule continues with a road game against the Vees on September 8 before wrapping up with a pair of contests against the Prince George Cougars. The teams will meet in Quesnel on September 12 before closing out the preseason at Sandman Centre on September 13.

Preseason games provide an important opportunity for players and coaches to evaluate line combinations, integrate new talent, and prepare for the challenges of a long WHL campaign.
