It was a season that ended just short of the postseason for the Kamloops NorthPaws, but two of their own made sure the club's 2026 campaign did not go unrecognized. Kade Crawford and Evan Dugdale have both been named to the West Coast League's All-WCL First Team following standout individual seasons.
Dugdale, a Vernon product, earned his spot as both a pitcher and multi-position player after one of the more dominant two-way performances in the league this summer. On the mound he finished the season with a perfect 6-0 record and a 1.63 ERA, while at the plate he hit .302 with four home runs and 33 RBI. It is the kind of all-around production that is rare at any level of baseball.
Crawford, a Louisiana Tech commit, was equally impressive in the outfield. He tied for the league lead with 11 home runs on the season, giving the NorthPaws one of the most dangerous power bats in the entire WCL.
The NorthPaws may have narrowly missed out on a playoff spot, but Crawford and Dugdale gave Kamloops fans plenty to cheer about all summer long.
