Faith Christensen takes her Volleyball career overseas, Signs with CVB Barça

Faith Christensen, former Thompson Rivers University WolfPack middle has signed with CVB Barça for the 2026/27 season, giving the Kamloops-based university standout an opportunity to continue her career in Barcelona, Spain.

Christensen, a fifth-year middle from Edmonton, leaves TRU after a decorated university career that saw her become one of the key pieces of the WolfPack women’s volleyball program.

The 6-foot middle blocker was a major presence at the net for TRU throughout the 2025/26 Canada West season and helped the WolfPack reach the Canada West Final Four. In a three-set playoff victory over Manitoba, Christensen tied a Canada West record with eight block assists.

Her impact extended beyond the court as well. Christensen was recognized as a four-time U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian during her time at TRU, highlighting the success she found both athletically and academically.

Now, she’ll get the chance to test herself against a new level of competition in Europe with CVB Barça.
