The Kamloops Blazers are heading back to home ice with their season already under pressure.

After dropping the first two games of the series to the Kelowna Rockets by scores of 3-1 and 5-1, the Blazers now find themselves down 2-0 in the series and in need of a response in Games 3 and 4 at home.

Game 3 is set for Tuesday, March 31, followed by Game 4 on Wednesday, April 1.

Despite the results, the series isn't over. Goaltender Logan Edmonstone has been a steady presence, posting a .909 save percentage through the opening two games. He has given the Blazers a chance to stay in both contests, but the lack of offensive support has been the difference.

That is where the focus shifts heading into the two games at home.

With high end talent like J.P. Hurlbert and Nathan Behm leading the way up front, the Blazers have the pieces to generate more offence than they have shown so far in the series. Finding ways to create sustained pressure and capitalize on chances will be critical if they want to turn momentum.

Now, the series shifts to Kamloops.

Two home games present an opportunity to reset, feed off the energy of the crowd, and claw back into the matchup. But there is no room for error, a split may not be enough. The Blazers need a strong push and likely two wins to bring this series back to even.
