The Kamloops International Cup is back this summer — and it's making a major statement.
Announced yesterday, the 2025 tournament will welcome two of England’s most historic clubs to the Interior: Arsenal’s U21 Women and Nottingham Forest’s U21 Men. Both teams will compete in a series of showcase matches against some of Canada’s top sides, bringing international-quality football to Hillside Stadium from July 25 to August 4.
For local fans and young players, it’s a rare chance to see future stars from two elite academies up close. Arsenal's youth system is known worldwide for developing top-tier women's talent, while Nottingham Forest brings a rich legacy of men’s football excellence.
Beyond the matches, the tournament will also feature a youth camps, training camps, and development opportunities led by visiting coaches and players. The goal is clear — to raise the level of football in Canada and inspire the next generation.
