The TRU WolfPack women’s volleyball team is headed to the Canada West Final Four and, for the first time in program history, the U SPORTS Women’s Volleyball Championship.
TRU secured its place after winning a three game quarterfinal series at the Tournament Capital Centre, finishing it off with a 3–0 victory over the Manitoba Bisons on Saturday night. The straight set win closed out the series on home court and officially punched their ticket to nationals.
The Canada West Final Four will be hosted in Edmonton, Alberta, where the WolfPack will face the host Alberta Pandas in a semifinal matchup on Friday, March 6.
By advancing to the conference semifinal, TRU also locked in qualification for the U SPORTS national championship, which will be held in Langley later this month. The tournament will feature the top teams from across the country competing for a national title.
It marks a significant milestone for the WolfPack program as they prepare to compete on the national stage while continuing their push for a Canada West championship this week in Edmonton.
