Curler Matt Dunstone has been named the Kamloops Sports Council Male Athlete of the Year, recognized for a standout season on the ice.

Dunstone was selected from an impressive field of nominees that included kayaker Harris Hunter and diver Philippe Wadsworth, both of whom had remarkable years representing Kamloops.
