Kamloops United FC wraps up its 2026 BC Premier League season this weekend with a packed home slate at Hillside Stadium, featuring four matches across two days for both the men's and women's sides.

Friday night brings a doubleheader against Vancouver, with the women kicking off against the Rise at 5:00 PM followed by the men taking on the Whitecaps at 7:30 PM.

Saturday is the marquee event of the weekend. Kamloops United hosts Nanaimo United FC in the second leg of the Reid Davidson Charity Shield, with the women's match starting at 5:00 PM and the men's at 7:30 PM. The Shield is named in honour of Reid Davidson, a well-loved member of both the Kamloops and Nanaimo soccer communities who passed away in 2023. Davidson developed through Kamloops youth soccer before relocating to Vancouver Island, where he became an important part of the Nanaimo soccer scene.

Now in its third edition, the Shield has quickly become one of the more meaningful fixtures on the BC Premier League calendar. Nanaimo United claimed the inaugural Shield, before Kamloops United answered back last year to capture the trophy for the first time in club history. With both clubs having now won the Shield once, Saturday's second leg carries extra weight as each side looks to become the first to claim it twice.

Kamloops United closes out its home schedule with a trophy on the line and plenty on the table for both programs heading into the final stretch of the season.
