A new season of summer baseball is almost here in Kamloops.
The Kamloops NorthPaws are set to open their 2026 campaign on May 29, returning to Norbrock Stadium to begin another season in the highly competitive West Coast League.
The home opener marks the beginning of a fresh chapter for the NorthPaws as the club prepares to once again welcome collegiate talent from across North America to Kamloops for the summer. With a new roster, a full season ahead and the return of baseball to Norbrock Stadium, anticipation has continued to build leading into opening night where they will host the visiting Corvallis Knights.
Competing in the West Coast League gives the NorthPaws the opportunity to face some of the top summer collegiate programs on the west coast. The league has become one of the premier destinations for developing players, featuring athletes from NCAA programs and showcasing future professional talent throughout the summer months.
For Kamloops, the start of the season represents more than just the return of baseball. The NorthPaws have continued to grow as part of the city’s summer sports landscape, creating an atmosphere that brings together families, fans and the local baseball community throughout the season.
