Kamloops’ own Gavin Dodd is flying home with some new hardware.

The talented double mini trampolinist captured the bronze medal at the 2025 World Games this weekend.

Competing against the very best in the world, Dodd delivered a pair of electrifying passes in the final round, combining technical precision with amplitude that had the judges impressed. His performance not only earned him a spot on the podium but also showcased the artistry and athleticism that have defined his career.

Dodd’s journey to the World Games podium has been years in the making. Training at the Kamloops Gymnastics and Trampoline Centre, he has steadily built a reputation for his clean form, explosive height, and calm under pressure. His bronze medal marks one of the highest achievements for a Canadian in the double mini trampoline discipline at the World Games.
