The Kamloops Broncos have announced the hiring of Jay Daniels as the club’s new head coach, a move aimed at resetting the program after a difficult season.

Daniels brings more than 20 years of football experience to Kamloops, with much of his coaching background coming on Vancouver Island. He has worked across multiple levels of the game, including time with the VI North Football Academy and as part of the coaching setup with Team BC, helping develop athletes in high performance environments.

The Broncos are coming off an 0-10 campaign in the BCFC, and the organization is clearly looking for leadership, structure, and long term growth. Daniels’ experience and familiarity with player development in British Columbia positions him as a key piece in the Broncos’ efforts to turn the page and build a more competitive future.
