2026 Kamloops International Cup Announces Pro Team Will Compete in This Year's Competition

The Kamloops International Cup has never seen anything like this. When Nottingham Forest Women touch down in Kamloops later this month, they will become the first professional first team ever to compete at the KIC, a milestone that speaks to how far this tournament has come since its inception.

The 2026 edition runs July 25 to August 1 at Hillside Stadium, and the addition of Forest's professional women's side transforms what was already a prestigious youth and academy tournament into something entirely different. Previous editions brought English Premier League academy sides from Arsenal, Fulham, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest's own academy to Kamloops. This summer, it is the real thing.

Forest headline a women's bracket that also includes Kamloops United FC Women, Vancouver Rise FC Academy and a BC Premier League Selects side. The men's competition features Kamloops United FC Men, a BCPL Selects team and Cavalry FC U21s, who make their third appearance at the KIC.

Away from the matches, three youth development camps will give local players a chance to work with the visiting clubs. Nottingham Forest lead two girls sessions on July 26 and 29, with Cavalry FC running a boys camp on July 27.
