Wolfpack Women’s Volleyball team is coming home with history on its side.
A decisive 3-0 win over the Calgary Dinos to close out the regular season, paired with results elsewhere in Canada West, locks the Pack into fourth place and secures the first home playoff series in program history.
Faith Christensen delivered an efficient performance in the middle in what marked her final regular season match, while Maria Dancheva made her presence felt at the net on both ends. Setter Libby Meldrum continued her standout campaign, leading the entire nation in assists this season.
The victory moves TRU to 14 and 6, the best winning percentage the program has recorded in a single season. Ten of those wins came in straight sets, underlining how consistently this group handled opponents.
The WolfPack will host a best of three Canada West quarterfinal series against Manitoba beginning February 26 at 6:00 pm, with games scheduled for February 27 and 28 if necessary. After building toward this moment over multiple seasons, TRU now gets the chance to chase a conference semifinal spot on its own floor.
