Kamloops International Cup Adds Firepower as Vancouver Rise Academy and Cavalry U21 Confirmed

The 2025 Kamloops International Cup is taking shape, and two of Canada’s top academy sides are officially confirmed. Vancouver Rise FC Academy and Cavalry FC U21 Men will take part in this summer’s event, each set to face off against top English opponents at Hillside Stadium.
The Vancouver Rise Academy will make their tournament debut on July 30 at 6:30 PM, going head-to-head with the Arsenal U21 Women. The highly anticipated matchup is part of Arsenal’s three-game tour, which also includes July 27 (opponent TBA) and August 2 vs Kamloops United FC, with all matches kicking off at 6:30 PM.
Cavalry U21's returns to Kamloops following their memorable 2024 appearance where they defeated Fulham's U21 Men in penalties. They will open the men’s schedule against Nottingham Forest U21 on July 28 at 6:30 PM. Forest’s full schedule also includes July 31 (opponent TBA) and a final match on August 3 vs Kamloops United FC, also at 6:30 PM.
The Kamloops International Cup will run from July 25 to August 4, with matches, training sessions, and community events turning Hillside Stadium into the heart of summer soccer in British Columbia. With elite international teams now confirmed and more local activations still to come, this year’s tournament promises to be the biggest edition yet.
