Blazers Open Home Schedule Saturday Against Victoria Royals
The Kamloops Blazers are back at the Sandman Centre this Saturday as they open their 2026/27 WHL Season against the Victoria Royals on September 19th.
The Blazers come into the 2026-27 season off a 2025-26 campaign where they finished fourth in the BC Division with 75 points before falling in the first round of the playoffs. The offseason has brought significant change with notable departures heading to the NCAA, as JP Hurlbert, Nathan Behm and Tommy Lafreniere have all moved on to the next chapter of their careers.
That means new faces will need to step up, and if the history of this organization is any indication, there is no shortage of young talent ready to make their mark. The Blazers have a long track record of developing players who rise to the occasion when given the opportunity, and this season figures to provide plenty of those moments in what shapes up to be another competitive BC Division race.
