Athletes from Across BC Descend on Kamloops for the 55+ BC Games

Kamloops is hosting the 2026 55+ BC Games this week, running from today through to Saturday September 12, with participants travelling from all 12 zones across British Columbia to compete.

The Games feature 27 sports spread across venues throughout the city and surrounding areas, including archery, 8-ball, carpet bowling, cornhole, cribbage, cycling, darts, disc golf, equestrian, five pin bowling, golf, hockey, ice curling, lawn bowling, pickleball, slo-pitch, snooker, soccer, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track and field, trail running, and triathlon.

The week wraps up Saturday with closing ceremonies across multiple venues throughout the day.
