WolfPack Men's Basketball Heads to Winnipeg for Canada West Play-In

The TRU WolfPack men’s basketball team is headed to Winnipeg after finishing the Canada West regular season with a 12-8 record. This is one of the programs strongest seasons in their Canada West era, and a back-to-back postseason berth for the Pack.

TRU will take on the Calgary Dinos on Friday at 1 PM Pacific in a Canada West play in matchup. Calgary also closed out conference play at 12-8. The two teams did not face each other during the regular season, making this their first meeting of the year.

The winner will move on to Saturday’s Canada West quarterfinal against the host Winnipeg Wesmen. Winnipeg finished 16-4, topping the Prairie Conference and earning the right to host through the opening weekend.

The format is single elimination, with Friday’s result determining who advances to face the Wesmen.
