The Kamloops Storm see their strong 2025–26 campaign recognized across the Doug Birks Division, with 3 members taking home major honours.

When the division awards were announced earlier today, Storm goaltender Brenner Fyfe was named Top Goaltender, forward Noah Paulsen earned Most Valuable Player, and GM Matt Kolle was recognized as the Doug Birks Division’s GM of the Year.

Fyfe’s season between the pipes was a cornerstone of the Storm’s success. He delivered steady, reliable goaltending all year long, making timely saves in key moments and providing the confidence a team needs from the back end. Whether facing high shot volumes or protecting tight leads, Fyfe consistently gave the Storm a chance to win on any given night.

Up front, Paulsen emerged as one of the most impactful players in the division. His offensive production and ability to drive play made him a constant threat, while his leadership and work ethic set the tone for the Storm lineup. Game after game, Paulsen found ways to contribute in crucial moments, making him a natural choice for the division’s MVP.

Behind the scenes, Kolle’s work assembling the roster and guiding the organization earned him recognition as GM of the Year. His approach to building a balanced lineup of combining skill, depth, and experience has helped position the Storm as one of the top teams in the division throughout the season.

With elite performances on the ice and strong leadership behind the bench and in the front office, the Storm’s award winners highlight the depth of a program that continues to set the standard in the Doug Birks Division.
