The top of the NorthPaws batting order is headed to the island. Outfielder Kade Crawford and two-way standout Evan Dugdale have been selected to represent Kamloops at the 2026 West Coast League All-Star Game, set for Wednesday, July 15 in Victoria.

The pair have been a one-two punch for the NorthPaws all summer, and their numbers made them impossible to leave off the North Division roster. Crawford, a Louisiana Tech commit, currently leads the entire WCL in both home runs with eight and stolen bases with 20, while hitting .330 through 30 games in centerfield. The hot-hitting outfielder earned league Player of the Week honours back in early June and hasn't slowed down since.

Dugdale earned the rare two-way designation, and it's easy to see why. After getting limited work on the mound this spring, the Vernon College product has found his groove in Kamloops, going a perfect 4-0 in six starts with a 2.10 ERA across 30 innings. He's been just as dangerous at the plate, hitting an even .300 through 29 games with three home runs and 24 RBI, which ranks second on the team.

The All-Star festivities get underway Tuesday, July 14 with the Home Run Derby at Wilson's Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park, headlined by former Toronto Blue Jays centerfielder Kevin Pillar. The North vs. South matchup follows Wednesday night, with first pitch set for 6:35 PM. Victoria HarbourCats head coach Todd Haney will manage the North squad.
