Kamloops United FC's Lucas Kirnon Earns International Call-Up with Montserrat

Kamloops United FC midfielder Lucas Kirnon has been selected to represent Montserrat in their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He will join the national team in Spain for a training camp ahead of matches against Belize and Guyana.

Kirnon, a native of Preston, England, has made a significant impact since joining Kamloops United FC in League1 British Columbia. This season he has been named to the L1BC Team of the Week, L1BC Team of the Month, and been named Man of the Match, helping the team maintain an unbeaten record early in the season.

Kirnon also plays for Thompson Rivers University's men's soccer team. His versatility and ability to contribute both defensively and offensively were noted during his 10 starts last season.

His international experience includes earning ten senior caps for Montserrat since his debut in 2022. His selection for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers underscores his growing reputation and the quality of talent developing within Kamloops United FC and the broader Kamloops soccer community.
