After spending the bulk of their early season on the road, Kamloops United FC is finally coming home. Through the first six matches of their British Columbia Premier League campaign, the club has played just one game in Kamloops, a stretch that has tested the squad's resilience against a demanding travel schedule.

That changes now. With nine matches remaining on the regular season schedule, Kamloops United will play seven of their next nine on home soil, giving both the men's and women's sides an extended opportunity to perform in front of their own supporters.

This weekend's homecoming comes with a twist. Rather than their usual home at Hillside Stadium, Kamloops United will welcome Burnaby FC at McArthur Island, with the matches running alongside the 45th Annual Slurpee Cup. The convergence of the province's top youth soccer talent and a BCPL fixture makes for an ideal setting as the club shifts into home-heavy territory.

As has been the case all season, admission to both the men's and women's matches is completely free thanks to local sponsors.
